Audience: Customers and businesses
Information we collect
BookItBoss collects information supplied by users and businesses, including account and business profile data, contact information, bookings, orders, preferences, communications, consent records, device and security data, and payment references. Payment-card credentials are handled by the activated payment provider rather than stored by BookItBoss.
How information is used
Information is used to provide and secure BookItBoss, complete customer-requested actions, operate business communications, personalize authorized experiences, maintain audit history, prevent abuse, support users, meet legal obligations, and improve the service.
Mobile information and messaging consent
Mobile phone information is used to provide requested and consented communications. Mobile information, including phone numbers and SMS consent records, is not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties, except service providers that deliver the requested messaging service or when disclosure is required by law.
SMS appointment updates
Participating businesses use BookItBoss to send transactional appointment text messages after explicit consent for the applicable business and phone number. These messages may include booking confirmations, request updates, reminders, rescheduling and cancellation information, and other consented appointment updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or visit https://bookitboss.com/help. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase or booking. Appointment messaging consent is separate from promotional consent, and booking again does not override an opt-out.
Service providers and disclosures
BookItBoss may provide the minimum necessary information to service providers that perform hosting, communications, security, analytics, AI assistance, and payment functions under appropriate restrictions. Information may also be disclosed to comply with law, protect users, investigate fraud or abuse, or complete a user-requested transaction. These disclosures do not permit recipients to use mobile opt-in data for their own marketing.
Business and customer separation
Customer and communication information is scoped to the relevant business relationship. BookItBoss does not use one business's private customer conversations or AI knowledge to train or serve an unrelated business.
Retention and security
BookItBoss retains information only as reasonably needed for the service, security, audit, dispute, and legal purposes described here. Access controls, tenant scoping, secure transport, provider secret isolation, and audit records are used to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Choices and requests
Users may update account and communication preferences through BookItBoss. Text recipients can reply STOP to opt out and HELP for support. Access, correction, deletion, restriction, or consent-withdrawal requests can be started through https://bookitboss.com/help, subject to lawful retention requirements.
